Reading Pillow and loss of Reading comfortably

One of the downsides of the internet and online print is the inability to curl up with reading pillow, blanket and a light and fully emerge your self in reading a book that can physically be touched. Unfortunately with today books being online you are mostly stuck in a chair looking at a monitor to do your reading. However, you don’t have to still succumb to only reading online. You can still get your favorite reading pillow and enjoy your time alone. It just takes planning and support of paper books.

I understand cutting down trees to print books is not the politically correct thing to do. I understand it’s not the green thing to do. However, paper books have their place just like areas for reading has its place. You don’t always want to be erected upright and reading. It can hurt your eyes and back if you do this too long. So, sometimes a book should be read in paperback. I now make it a point to buy hardcover or soft cover book to support the printers. This is only if I really enjoy the book. It is more expensive to purchase these books than just purchasing a pdf (portable document file) book. However, I believe it is still worth it. I also make it a point to purchase my teenagers paper books so they can still experience the same type of seclusion books can offer. I suppose this is only important to people who believe reading is important. The say reading is on the decline. The quote below:

Reading is the fundamental skill that separates students who succeed in school from those who struggle. It is also sets people apart in the business world when you receive an email with incorrect grammar and misspelled words. It is essential to daily living and the foundation for future learning and lifetime success to be able to read and write correctly and professionally. The way younger generations are communicating may cause a generation of kids who can not express their thoughts on paper because of text message and their lack of desire to write a complete sentence. The BRB (be right back), the jk/ (joke0 the lol ( laughing out loud) is fine if they have basic understanding of English and are able to apply these concepts in the real world.

To encourage children to read you should try to create an environment that is fun when reading. You could buy the kids a Sponge BoB reading pillow or a Barney reading pillow to try to make it fun when you try to get them to sit down and read. Reading also helps the child to learn to stay still and be quite all of which is necessary as the progress though the ages.
